Overview

Responsibilities
- Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines
- Analyze drawings to determine cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates
- Monitors production and checks output for quality assurance
- Identifies needs for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs
- Develop CNC programs for production runs
- Troubleshoot issues during the program simulation process
- Maintain tooling database
Requirements
- Operating knowledge of CNC and Manual Machines
- Use of precision measuring tools
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Must be able to read and comprehend prints
- Understanding of basic G and M codes
- Perform minor machine maintenance such as adding coolant, lube, etc.
- Operation of multiple machines as needed
