The General Laborer is the front-end employee who performs the material handling, job sorting, deburring, and polishing of each part that is cut out on our fiber laser. This position is responsible for bringing each part up to the specific finish that is listed on the associated prints.

Responsibilities

Perform manufacturing processes to produce high-quality parts and equipment
Handle materials and assist in job sorting and organization
Deburr, polish, and prepare surfaces for further manufacturing processing
Read and interpret blueprints
Perform bead blasting and other surface preparation tasks
Support various tasks needed to maintain a smooth production flow
Follow Safety protocol and quality standards

Requirements

Ability to stand up to 10hrs/day
Experience with power tools and hand grinders
Communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow directions and work independently at times
