Overview
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting financial forecasting, generating reports, and analyzing growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Implement standard forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and ROI processes
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and predictive metrics to support the informed decision-making of the management team
- Provide financial analysis and models to drive growth in the Company
- Oversee capital project budgets and manage fixed asset reporting
- Analyze manufacturing costs including direct materials, labor, and overhead to identify variances and trends
- Monitor inventory levels and valuation, and evaluate the variance, turnover, aging, and obsolescence of items
- Make recommendations to minimize variances and improve cost accounting processes
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the organization’s FP&A processes, systems, and tools
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the management team to ensure that the Company’s objectives are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Above average understanding of processes and controls across finance and ERP systems
- Proficiency in ERP systems, and advanced user of Excel and BI reporting tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, cost accounting and inventory management
